SUMMARY OF WIMPY KID 3

            This story started on summer vacation when a student Greg Heffley (Zachary Gordon) would enjoyed his holiday with two goals in mind: Played video games and tried to hang out with his current crush, Holly Hills (Peyton List). On the last day of school, he hoped could had Holly’s phone number, but she couldn’t wrote the last two of  her phone number, so he couldn’t called Holly. At the house Greg spent all of his time for played video games but Greg’s Dad ( Steve Zahn), didn’t want his son just sit around the house all day played video games. He wanted Greg to spent a productive summer liked played sports and did some good hard worked.

            Greg's planned really came together when his best friend Rowely (Robert Capron) invited  him went to the country club with his family. Greg ended up convinced his father that he had a job at the club, while really he was relaxed around drank smoothies, spent time with Holly and sneaked his big brother Rodrick (Devon Bostick) into the club.

All this added up to plenty of opportunities for Greg to lie to his parents, lied to Rowley, lied to Rowley’s parents, disappointed his father, disappointed Rowley, disappointed Rowley’s parents and been antagonized by his goofy and somewhat evil older brother, Rodrick. Aside from a few little glitches here and there, this summer might turned out to be the best ever, unless of course, he got caught.

Rodrick told Greg about the "Wilderness Weekend", where he could attempted to impressed his Dad while out on a camping trip. Greg, hoped this might been his last chanced to impress his Dad. However, their troop proved to be weak compared to Troop 42, led by Warren (Phil Hayes), who pitched their tents where Greg's troop was about to stayed, forced them to put their tents next to the bathroom. Greg and his friends overheard Stan and his sons mocked Greg's father and planned to set up a trapped for revenge involved a nest of ants.

However, Warren's expensive tent gets destroyed, and Greg discovered that Troop 42 has not been camping but lived off of excessive conveniences. When Greg steps up and took the blame, Frank was impressed and found out about Troop 42's electronic convenience. Frank angrily and Warren falls into the Greg’s trapped. As a result, Warren was chased by bees and a bear. Frank later took Greg to a hotel and reveal he never liked camping. He told Greg that he wouldn’t sent him to Spag Union and that he was proud of him.

At Heather Hills' Sweet 16th birthday party, Löded Diper performs a rock version of Justin Bieber's "Baby" during an attempted to won over Heather. However, they performance wasn’t run according the planned. Greg apologized to Holly, however she was happy as she felt that her sister deserved it. Then, Holly holds Greg's hand, implied that she liked him.

Even the summer didn't go exactly as planned but in the ended, it all worked out okey, over all this might went down as the best summer ever.
